US Army Veteran Mac Evans served with the 29th Infantry Division during World War II and earned a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Combat Infantry Badge.
He was also chosen as Louisiana’s first recipient of Safe Step Cares. He was formally nominated by a Safe Step employee.
